Dr Ilnaz Ashayeri is a Senior Lecturer and Course Lead in Construction Management at Birmingham City University. With a background in industry and academia, she specialises in sustainable construction, Digital Twin technologies, BIM, modular and off-site construction, and generative design. Dr Ashayeri is actively engaged in research and has led multiple grant applications, including interdisciplinary collaborations and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships. She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a PhD supervisor, and an editorial board member for a special issue of MDPI Sustainability. Through innovative teaching practices and leadership in student engagement initiatives like the Peer Navigator scheme, she is committed to enhancing research-informed education and bridging the gap between industry and academia.
