Dr. Bo Jie earned the Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, XIAN, China in 2009, and the Ph.D of Engineering in 2022 from the Department of Division of Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Yokohama National University, Yokohama, Japan.
He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, Japan. He is also a Visiting Researcher with Tokyo University of Science, Japan. He is an editor of the Journal of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ), Energies, and guest editor of IET Smart Grid. He is a member of IEEJ, J-PVS and IEEE. His current research interests cover electric power system operation and control, including electric power system economics, power market mechanisms, system evolutionary computation, and optimization, V2G technologies, energy management system (EMS).
