Giorgio Dodero is the President of IPG Industrial Project Group Srl, an international engineering, consultancy, and research firm established in 1973. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Milan (1961) and has also pursued studies in Chemical Engineering at the same institution. Mr. Dodero has had a distinguished career at ENEL, the Italian state-owned electric utility, where he was responsible for the planning, design, and construction of large-scale, multinational power generation plants—including hydroelectric, fossil fuel, nuclear, and renewable energy facilities. He has authored or co-authored more than 78 technical papers, over 50 of which were published on behalf of ENEL, focusing on power and petrochemical plants, as well as advanced technologies like carbon capture and utilization (CCU) and sequestration (CCS). Under his leadership, IPG has expanded its international presence, working closely with a global network of experts and academic institutions such as Milan Polytechnic and Warwick University.
